The Special Education Team at Posternock Apell, PC will represent you in gaining compliance with your children’s right to services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as other state and federal statutes.  Along with Attorney Sever's legal experience and our special education consultants' professional experiences in the field of education, we are also parents of special needs children.  We understand how frustrating and daunting the process can be. Our Team Approach

Our attorney, Diana R. Sever, Esq., works closely with our team of in-house special education consultants, as well as a dedicated administrative assistant, to provide clients with wrap-around care. From first contact to final outcome, clients can rely on our team to manage every detail of their case with professionalism and compassion.  

Together, our special education attorney and consultants have extensive training and experience in education law and policy, as well as an enriched depth of knowledge on special education evaluations, IEP development, classroom instruction, and child study team procedures. Additionally, each member of our team understand the complexity and frustration of navigating special education supports and services on a personal level as a result of supporting our own children and family members with special needs.
